| AM
AM existed for a brief period of time shortly before and sometime after the dawn of the millenium. Equal parts Superdrag, Pavement, Pearl Jam, Sebadoh, Seam, and a variety of other bands that either start with the letter "S" or "P". A full album entitled "I Left This For You" was produced in the year 2000 for South Jersey's Keep Safe Records and various levels of success were quickly obtained.
It was a heady time here in Philadelphia back then. Cheese steaks were only made Philly-style, 2nd Street (south of Market) had yet to be glammed up, Tyrone Hill of the Sixers probably held the title of Ugliest Man in the NBA, Mike hadn't had the joy of having a cigar put out on his back (and/or meet Warren Sapp in the stairwell of Finnegan's Wake), while our Philadelphia Eagles had yet to disappoint us several times in the NFC title game. Of course, the band, The Eagles, will always disappoint everyone since they're one of the worst bands of all-time.
With AM's band members currently residing in several different continents and/or regions of the United States at the moment, a 2005 reunion special doesn't seem likely. Never know though. Maybe the remarkable powers of the Internet will someday yield some new songs on here.
Regardless of the past, it's still my belief that you guys should've been huge (alongside The Secession Movement). It just never worked out. Enjoy what's left.
And if you're looking to buy a cd, send an e-mail to youlookgoodinblack@yahoo.com and we'll work something out.
